The Rarest Stars Shine Brightest
a group of resilient kids with rare diseases hatch an outrageous plan to save the day
This magical holiday campaign is about a ragtag group of kids with rare diseases who tap into their resilience to save the holidays for all of New York. When a blackout in New York threatens to cancel the holidays, the kids decide they’re the only ones that can save the day. After all, they deal with more before breakfast than most people do all year.
The New York Center for Rare Diseases at Montefiore Einstein is at the forefront of innovation and groundbreaking research and is an international referral site for the most complex, rare, and inherited conditions.
We built a WebGL-powered microsite where users journey through space to “discover hidden stars,” symbolizing rare diseases. The digital experience incorporates conversational language inspired by science books; the site turns complex medical topics into an engaging and intuitive experience for all ages.
